CentOS7
It is recommended to install on a clean CentOS 7 installation[1]. In this case I am using an LXC container. I am a little concerned that it uses rpmfusion[2] as I might get conflicting packages kernel packages during updates. Will need to be careful.
yum -y install epel-release yum -y localinstall --nogpgcheck https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/rpmfusion-free-release-7.noarch.rpm https://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/el/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-7.noarch.rpm yum install mariadb-server systemctl enable mariadb systemctl start mariadb.service mysql_secure_installation
