First Clearing uses a Juniper virtual NIC to create a tunnel between your computer and their systems. Because regulations say that proper public keys are not good enough, and installing a back-door onto your computer is the best way to maintain security (but not for you!) ;-)
If this adapter becomes corrupt or disabled you will not be able to have full access to their site. The fix is:
- Open Device Manager
- Go to View -> Show Hidden Devices
- Find Juniper Networks Network Connect virtual adapter
- Either enable it, or delete it. If you decide to delete the hidden network adapter, it will be recreated after you try to log in again.
Good luck!
